Francis, Charles B.
         
         
         
         b. October 30, 1799, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts; d. October 10, 1843, in Jacksonville, Illinois. Francis married Roxanna
            Goodrich. In 1835, they had two living children and moved to Springfield, Illinois. Francis was in the
            business of manufacturing cabinet furniture with his brother Josiah Francis. Charles Francis united with others in building
            fifteen miles of the Northern Cross Railroad to extend the Toledo, Wabash and Western Railroad from New Berlin, Illinois,
            to
            Springfield, Illinois.
